Joe and Kiersten
When I met Joe and Kiersten for the engagement session last year I knew the wedding photos would be full of beauty and laughter! They are both so at ease in front of the camera and incredibly photogenic.
Their wedding photos totally lived up to my expectations.
When these to first met the chemistry was off the charts, and they still have it. Joe was speechless a few times throughout the day when he looked over at Kiersten, he was wowed by how in love he was and how gorgeous she is. Kiersten knew the first time she met Joe that he was the one, and for her the wedding was a formality, as she has been married to Joe in her heart for years.
Kiersten was stunning and totally at ease in her wedding dress

And Joe was full or charisma

and their classic car totally jived with their style

There are a plethora of photos from the dancing that I heart - but doesn't the way they are looking at each other in this one make you melt.....

Thanks Joe and Kriesten for being so darn wonderful!
Heather + Chris
I had the most wonderful experience with Heather and Chris while photographing their engagement session in early summer.
We bonded over the magic of falling in love, and the romantic optimism that surrounds you as you open yourself up to someone new.
The sparks these two have are epic, they had trouble keeping their hands of each other and not looking at each other all day. Despite being surrounded by friend and family, they were in their own bubble.
The wedding at Air force Beach provided a stunning background and afterwards we headed to this gorgeous field I had recently scouted but was waiting for just the right people to use it with. The field is wide open, with dreamy light and beautiful trees - it was made for Heather and Chris.
Heather, Chris, you are exactly the reason I love my job.
Heather had a totally vision of her ceremony location, it was perfect -

and there was a bounce-o-rama set up close by, every bride's dream -

We found a stunning pool of light -

Then we played -

and a little romance -

Simone + Martin =Married
The rain was coming down hard, but it didn't really matter. Simone and Martin's sprits couldn't be dampened.
All day my assistant Jen and I kept raving about how great these two are. Simone is silly, Martin is romantic, they make each other laugh and seem to touch every time they are close to each other.
They celebrate their differences and discuss with animation the things they have in common.
Despite living in different provinces they are obviously totally and completely together.
Thanks Simone and Martin, your day was perfect!

Reece + Andrea = Married
He smirks, she blushes. After four years together, they have the energy of a couple newly in love. It took Reece one year to ask Andrea out and I think the wait was worth it. Andrea, as well as being stunning, is kind, funny, whip smart and has a calm presence. Reece, although a lover of outdoor adventure, has his feet firmly on the ground – he is stable, on the ball, sincerely and darn handsome.
Really, they made my day super easy.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, amidst the beauty of Crown Isle Resorts, they said I do. The reception was followed by a dinner, and will be followed by another reception when they return home to Alberta – good thing – as Andrea's dress definitely deserves to be worn twice.
