I never knew egg photography could be so fun

When the computer hit the wall yesterday it seemed like a good time for John, Christine and I to throw some eggs around.

Since I entered into the land of not being able to eat anything (no sugar, wheat or dairy,) eggs and I have become really familiar.  My recent embrace of eggs is making John pretty happy. Seriously, he thinks they are the perfect food. Breakfast-dinner is his specialty and whenever someone is fighitng sickness off in our family he thinks that they need eggs. The amount of eggs we go through in this family is kind of ludicist.

I hope it is okay to share one of his quirks publicly - they do say you like people for who they are and love them for thier quirks.

Until recently I was never a fan of eggs, they kind of grossed me out actually - especially if I had to cook them and especially if I didn't know where they came from.

However, Comox Valley Eggs (which you can pick up so easily, DeeTeeKay are my fave) and I will now live happily ever after.

Can you help me out and let me know your favorite.

There's something very Zen about the third one. But I think #4 is my favourite. :)

I like 3 and 4. But 4 is more "eggy" since you can see the yolk.

(We have "brinner" [breakfast-for-dinner] regularly in our house)

Love the "Brinner" sounds way more fun than breakfast-dinner.

#1 all the way! It's brilliant. The hands, the way you've captured the egg leaving the shell and it's viscosity...it's beautiful.
I've also called it brupper but brinner is way better...sounds almost like winner:)

I would have to say that #4 is my favorite. And I agree Karen, that DeeKayTee is a great place to visit to get your local eggs as well as many other fantastic local products. The owners are such sweet people.

Yes, I agree, DeeKayTee is totally worth the drive - the kids love the little market there.
